Ok, let's continue before I need tissues (and therapy). Then my brother-in-law got married (which entailed the familia coming to visit, which is always crazy, but fun).

Then we started looking for a house. Then my son got sick. Then he kept being sick (he's doing better tonight, but this virus is the pits). Then we found a house. Then we made an offer, got counter-offered, and counter-offered that. Are you confused yet? Anyway, long story short (or maybe not...), we got the house! Yippee! We love this house, although it does need some work. It's not too far from where we live now and it's on a cul-de-sac, so Boogs (son's nickname- get familiar with it, I use it a lot) can ride his bike. We've already been to Lowe's and Home Depot more in one week than I'd like to go in a year, but at least it's for our house. I can't wait to see what it looks like when we're done! The great thing is that we can stay where we are now until the renovations are done, which means no living with walls busted out, floors torn up, and paint fumes. So...want to come help??
...seriously, worse font issues ever. Sorry, guys!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you do with the house! Are you going to be posting before and afters? ;)
ReplyDeleteI will! :) There's so much to do, I have to remember to photograph it all! I know I've asked this several times, but I keep forgetting to write it down- what type of camera do you use?
